This isn’t quick, one-size-fits-all care.
Appointments are designed to give us time to actually understand what’s going on — not just check boxes or adjust medications without a clear direction.
I take a step back and look at the full picture — not just symptoms on paper.
That includes things like your stress levels, lifestyle, sleep, patterns over time, and what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life.
From there, we build a plan that makes sense for you.
Medication can be incredibly helpful — but only when it’s used thoughtfully.
My approach is not to add more medications quickly or make constant changes without a clear reason. Instead, we focus on:
Choosing carefully
Starting low when appropriate
Adjusting with intention
Paying attention to how you actually feel, not just what a scale says
Anxiety that feels constant or hard to shut off
Depression, low motivation, or feeling stuck
ADHD (including adult diagnosis and management)
Burnout — especially from work or caregiving
Life transitions that feel overwhelming
I have a strong interest in women’s mental health, including how stress, hormones, and life stage can impact mood, focus, and overall well-being.
This isn’t overcomplicated — it’s just part of looking at the whole picture.
A lot of the people I work with are parents trying to balance everything — work, family, mental load — while feeling like they’re running on empty.
Care takes that reality into account.
Treatment may also explore contributing factors such as:
Sleep
Stress
Lifestyle patterns
Hormonal influences
Not in an overwhelming way — just enough to make sure we’re not missing something important.
All visits are virtual, which allows for:
More flexibility
Less disruption to your day
Care in a comfortable environment
Serving patients throughout Illinois.
If you’re looking for a more thoughtful, personalized approach to mental health care — you’re in the right place.
